The current moon phase, it is 68.4% lit. I would have to say apart sigthing of the moon crescent, this phase excites me, because at this phase you can actually see the moon's surface craters and it's shadow clearly as oppose to during full moon.

I would have to say apart sigthing of the moon’s crescent (Hilal), this phase excites me because you can actually see the moon’s craters and it’s shadow clearly as oppose to during full moon. Camera/Lens : Canon EOS 7D with EF400mm f/5.6 L USM. Exif : 1/40, ISO 100, f/7.1. Date/Time : 28th July 2013 06:21:34 HRS (20th Ramadhan 1434H)
